Flooding in Romagna, the efforts of the Lottomatica Foundation

The Lottomatica Foundation supports Romagna, where last May there was severe flooding that claimed seventeen victims across the region, with displacement of thousands of people and considerable damage.

The foundation, an expression of the Lottomatica Group‘s social commitment, has decided to intervene specifically in Cesena, one of the municipalities most affected by the floods, and to help restore the usability of the former municipal school in Via Rovescio, Bagnile, which, following its closure for educational purposes, had been allocated as accommodation and temporary housing for families in need.

After the overflow of the surrounding waterways, the ground floor of the building was flooded, forcing the authorities to order its evacuation. The support initiative was presented last night in the presence of regional and city institutions during the #PiazzAsiago cultural event.
