To honor the memory of journalist Luca Cifoni, the economic signature of Il Messaggero who recently passed away, the Lottomatica Foundation has established a scholarship that will cover the tuition of the Master’s Degree in Journalism and Media Communication, organized in collaboration with Il Messaggero and Unimarconi. The scholarship is intended for young graduates (under 30) in economics or the humanities, with a special focus on those with journalism experience in economics.
The winner will have the opportunity to intern in the economic editorial office of Il Messaggero, following in the footsteps of Cifoni, who is known for his expertise and precision in economic issues, including pensions and public accounts.
The master’s program, which will be named after Paolo Graldi, longtime editor of Il Messaggero, aims to train a new generation of journalists ready to face the challenges of the modern news landscape. Classes, also available via live streaming, will cover all aspects of contemporary journalism, with a focus on digital communication, web journalism and social media.
The program includes a course enriched by workshops with experts and a two-month internship, during which students will experience editing. The one-year course is open to bachelor’s and master’s degree holders and allows 60 undergraduate credits.
