Lottomatica Foundation and Luigi Maria Monti Foundation: strategic partnership in favor of children

A project of great human and social scope that sees the patient at the center at every stage of the care process and the continuous improvement of the quality of care. To realize it, the Luigi Maria Monti Foundation (IDI) and the Lottomatica Foundation have decided to work together to create a new Child Neuropsychiatry Center at the “Villa Santa Margherita” Rehabilitation Center in Montefiascone (VT).

The M.R. Father Giuseppe Pusceddu, president of the Luigi Maria Monti Foundation, explains that “this is an initiative of high health value but also of strong moral and ethical value, a commitment that improves the tools at the service of childhood, and in particular in an area, the neuropsychiatric one, where the need for assistance is really fundamental even at the level of comfort of the person.”

The New Center. The partnership will enable the creation of new therapeutic pathways: existing spaces at Villa Santa Margherita will also be renovated and new equipment purchased. This is a crucial first step in a collaboration that may bring other elements of common growth in patient care in the future.

“All this,” explains Alessandro Zurzolo, CEO of the Luigi Maria Monti Foundation. – to make the Center for Child Neuropsychiatry a welcoming, reassuring and stimulating environment that can meet the specific needs of children and adolescents and improve their overall well-being, from both clinical and social and family perspectives.”

“For us, it is crucial that business activity results in a concrete contribution to the common good,” says the President of Lottomatica Foundation Riccardo Capecchi – for this reason the Lottomatica Foundation, an expression of the Group’s social commitment, identifies and supports projects with a high social impact promoted by authoritative realities rooted in the territory, putting people and the communities in which we operate at the center.”

The contribution. Lottomatica Foundation responded to the request of the Luigi Maria Monti Foundation, which in January 2025 initiated the collection of expressions of interest for the provision of a liberal contribution for the implementation of the project. Therefore, Lottomatica Foundation arranged for significant financial support in favor of the “Villa Santa Margherita” Rehabilitation Center.

Sustainable Development. With this contribution, Fondazione Lottomatica reaffirms its commitment, through study, research, training and information initiatives, to contribute to a broader awareness and understanding of social, economic and sustainable development issues, both locally and globally.
